Numerical wildfire and AI Weather Workshop Announcement - Call for Participation
Numerical Wildfire and AI Weather is a small, high-level scientific workshop bringing together leading experts in weather AI, numerical wildfire forecasting, and fire-atmosphere interactions. The workshop is designed as an intensive, on-site event. Unlike large conferences, this small-group format allows for extended scientific exchanges, joint project work, and a strong interdisciplinary approach. The goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and operational needs by focusing on real-world applications of AI, numerical modeling, and risk assessment.
Organizing committee: Jean-François Muzy,Laure Raynaud, Alberto A., Christophe Paoli, Rachel Baïle, Roberta Baggio are pleased to announce the upcoming scientific workshop:
- Numerical Wildfire and AI Weather 2025
- Institut d’Études Scientifiques de Cargèse (IESC), Corsica, France
- November 3–7, 2025
- More info: https://forefireapi.github.io/cargese2025/
Organized with the support of CNRS, Université de Corse Pascal Paoli, ANR Saphir, and the FIRE-RES program and in the frame of NERO Network, this workshop will bring together a selected group of researchers and experts working on:
- AI-enhanced weather prediction
- Numerical wildfire simulation
- Fire-atmosphere interactions
- Risk assessment & operational forecasting tools
