The purpose of this seminar, intended for students, junior and senior researchers in the fields of literature and art history, is to provide theoretical and methodological keys for the identification and interpretation of the many philosophical references and allusions found in literature and in the texts of literary and artistic theory from the Early Modern period (roughly 1500-1700, in Europe with a focus on France and Italy).
